As much as I enjoyed the first two books, Rivers of London
slightly more than Moon Over Soho
, I think this one's my favourite in the series so far.
I can't really think of anything I didn't like about it - the plot perhaps wasn't the strongest, but this series is (at least to me) more about the atmosphere and the writing and the characters anyway, so I wasn't particularly bothered.
I keep liking Peter (and loving
his narrative voice) and I was glad to see more of Leslie again. I'd have wished for more Nightingale, but well, one can't have everything.
