Sapphique (Incarceron, #2) - Catherine Fisher After finishing Incarceron - which I found somewhat dull, in spite of having an intriguing premise, and I never really warmed to most of the characters - I was a bit unsure if I'd even want to read the sequel.

I'm glad that I did; I enjoyed Sapphique quite a bit more in the end, although I found the beginning a bit slow again. It helped that there was a lot more Jared in this book - he was the character I was most interested in in Incarceron, and it was good to see his story unravel.
