More straightforward, more self-contained, simpler than the first book; in some ways, I think I preferred this to Rosemary and Rue
and in others, it felt a bit unsatisfying.
Still, I wasn't entirely sure after the first book whether this would be a series for me or not. After A Local Habitation
, I'm quite sure I'll want to read some more. I'm getting into this world and its characters.
